Despite the name, I am neither a dog nor a doctor, and I am not a veterinarian. I live in the rural, isolated western Upper Peninsula of Michigan, where I work at a weekly newspaper, mainly doing sports and taking photos. My wife and I have two grown sons and two elderly cats.

I am in my upper 50s, but I try to stay creative and open-minded. I love photography, nature, writing, classic movies and music and the sensual pleasures of life. In short, sex and the many manifestation's of one's sexuality.
